star trails

are some of the most amazing pictures you can take. so in a world where pocket sized digital cameras are taking over, influencing Polaroid to discontinue classic polaroids (rumored to be taken over by Fujifilm) and Brooks Institute enrollment to drastically decrease, there's still great film photos.
i first learned about them at the brooks high school photo workshop in the summer of 06. i've always wanted to try to get one like this. but alas, i have little knowledge of if you need additional lighting or if the 15 minute-to several hours of exposure is enough... maybe i'll try one night, but i'd be awfully sad if they all turned out pitch black. i guess that's why i just have to try.
