electronically schmonically

for my english class i am writing a paper about virtual reality how it exists in Fahrenheit 451 and in society today. and of course that means i have to include Facebook, Myspace and Twitter. if i ever said once that 'blog' is my least favorite bit of internet-produced jargon, it has now been replaced by 'twitter' and all related terms ('i tweeted?' are you kidding me?). it's tiring that the news focuses on this new phenom incessantly and now i have to write about it because it is revolutionary that we can exist as avatars basically. twitter is just annoying, to me. but it is pretty funny that aston kutcher and cnn were in a 'popularity' contest and the actor won by being the first user to get to 1 million followers.
p.s. i know i could change what theme i write on for this paper but virtual reality is pretty interesting. i might post the paper on here when i'm done with it, or at least the links for the few cool articles i found on it.
